Back-End Developer Larnaca/Hybrid

Our client is a pioneering broker solutions provider with a high-level of expertise in the Fintech industry. On their behalf, we are looking for a Back-End Developer to join its growing team in Larnaca, Cyprus.

As a Back-end Developer you will work very closely with other developers, as well as Designers to develop new exciting products and maintain web systems for top brokerages.

For the most part you will be using Go and MySQL. Knowing Go before-hand will be a huge plus, but it’s not necessary as long as you have a strong understanding of server-side programming. You will be a key contributor to the code and there will be a lot of responsibility for maintaining and scaling the systems. 

Requirements:
– Good understanding of algorithms and data structures
– Flexibility, lateral thinking and problem-solving skills
– MySQL knowledge and general RDBS
– RESTful API design and implementation experience
– Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and network protocols
– Experience with multithreading and asynchronous processing
– Curiosity to learn new programming languages
– Experience with Javascript
– Experience with version control systems like git
