September 13, 2022 On behalf of our client, we are currently looking for a Accountant to join a great legal company in Limassol.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and updating accounting records via accounting software SAP
- Preparing and maintaining ad-hoc reports
- Liaising with banks and being responsible for bank related matters
- Liaising with creditors and debtors
- Managing reconciliations (cash, banks, receivables, payables, axes)
- Assisting with VAT & VIES registration and submission, filing and all related tasks
- Contributing to statutory compliance (preparation of Financial Statements, Tax Compliance, etc.)
Requirements:
- Graduate of degree in Accounting or other related field
- Holder of LCCI Higher or GCE A’ Level
- Minimum 2 years previous work experience in a similar position
- IT Literate and advanced knowledge of Excel
- Previous experience and knowledge of SAP accounting software
- In process for obtaining AAT/ CAT /ACCA, will be considered as an advantage
- Good understanding and previous experience with Tax and VAT matters, will be considered an advantage
- Time management skills, ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
- Enthusiastic team player who enjoys being part of a team
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
- Strong work ethics, confidentiality, positive attitude and professional approach
- Good command of the Greek and English language
